Teaching through connection

The Story behind Story & Talk

Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, I didn’t set out to build a brand about connection—I followed a question that kept showing up in every classroom, every home, every country I lived in:

Why do some children open up… and others stay quiet, even when we’re right there with them?

I’ve spent 10+ years in the classroom, working closely with children and families. Then life took me across the world—from Brazil to California, and now to Rome—where I continued developing a connection-focused approach through stories, conversations, and hands-on experiences.

Along the way, I also became a parent—raising trilingual children across three countries.

And what I saw, both professionally and personally, was this:

Parents care deeply.

They show up. They try.

But many feel stuck when it comes to real connection.I’ve had countless parents come to me asking:

“How do I get my child to talk to me?”

“How do I connect without forcing it?”

“Why does it feel like I’m missing something?”

And here’s what I’ve learned—again and again:

Children don’t open up because we have more time.

They don’t open up because we say the “perfect” thing.

They open up when we know how to reach them.

That’s why I created Story & Talk.

A space where stories, conversations, and simple creative rituals come together to help families build meaningful connection—without pressure, without overwhelm.

Through guided journals, storytelling practices, and hands-on activities, I help parents turn everyday moments into opportunities for deeper connection.

Because connection isn’t something we add to our already full days.

It’s something we build into them—one question, one story, one small ritual at a time.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re close to your child… but not quite connected—you’re exactly where you need to be.

empowering our generation trough stories.
